Hillsea Real Estate was established in 1986 by Brian and Carol Truswell, laying the foundation for what has become one of the Northern Gold Coast’s most trusted and enduring real estate agencies.

The business opened its first office under Raine & Horne before transitioning to First National, and later launching as Hillsea Real Estate — which went on to become the largest independent real estate agency in Queensland. Built on a foundation of personalised service, community values, and deep local knowledge, the business quickly grew beyond its original office in Paradise Point. Over time, Brian and Carol were joined by their daughter Jemina Hancock and son David Truswell, further strengthening the company’s family-led approach and commitment to excellence.
